If the Shoe Fits

a few of the many more

I realized recently that I have a thing for shoes. I don't want to start counting the pairs I have right now simply because looking at them makes me feel guilty already. Yeah, D has complained about the shoes when we moved to our new place. He pointed out that I wouldn't need so many since I can't wear them all at the same time. And to think I bought five more pairs ever since we transferred in December last year, tsk tsk.
Hey, I'm sure I'm not the only one! I know that a lot of girls out there have the same obsession for nice foot wears.
So, how come it's such a big deal for us that ex-First Lady Imelda Marcos had a hundred or more pairs?
Check out MIKKA Store in Cluster Bldg. II Tutuban Center, Divisoria for great bargains. Shoe prices range from P450 - P900/$10++.

The Cost of Vanity

If there's one super big investment I've done lately, I can only think of my obagi treatment. The medicines and the facials definitely made a mark on my savings account to date. Thing is, I've tried lots already and nothing made my zits stop from coming until I discovered the life changing trasformation with the help of no less than the doctor-of-the-stars herself, Ms. Vicky Belo. I don't need to blog about her, I'm sure she's a star herself and articles about her and the Belo Clinics are found everywhere, including in the Times Magazine. The picture here is a sample of obagi's success. I hope you think the same way, too. Aha ha! Hey! I'm the one with the turban, and take note -> no make-up.
For starters, visit Derma Basics Skin & Hair Clinic. The branch that I've tried is in Robinsons Manila, at the 2nd floor Faura wing. They are the only ones licensed by the Belo Group to repackage and sell Obagi meds in sample sizes. One set is worth about P5k/$100.

T.G.I.F.

I always look forward to Friday nights because it means night outs for me & D. Tonight, we're spending it at the National Sports Grill in Greenbelt 2. So, you wonder how I can blog & have a date with my hubby at the same time? We finally found the perfect place for us! Here at NSG, D can watch his favorite basketball game in the resto's 100 plus inch screen while I'm browsing the net in my notebook. Not too bad when "My Humps" by Black Eyed Peas is playing through the piped-in music. Never mind the noise by these toddlers sitting next to us. Why bother? As long as D is enjoying the ball game between the UCLA and the GONZ of the NCAA, and I'm writing my heart's out, we are having a great time. The food is good by the way, and the price is not bad either. I'm expecting about P1k++/$20++ bill later. It's OK, D's treating me anyway : )
After the game were going to Starbucks for our favorite drink. Thank God its Friday!
